How to Remove Windows 10 Login Password
Would you like to disable the need to enter a password or PIN on Windows start-up? If you feel that your PC or laptop won't be misused or stolen and you just want to boot directly into Windows. I have good news, it is as simple a checking a box.
You'll be booting straight into your Windows desktop without the password requirement password in no time.
Step 1
Click the search bar next to the Start menu and type: netplwiz and click on the top result to run.
Step 2
- Once the User Accounts window opens, uncheck the box "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" and click Apply.
- You will by prompted for your username and password. Enter your username (if not already there), your existing password and confirm your password, then click OK.
- Click OK in the User Accounts window to close the window and your all done.
Next time you boot into Windows you will not be asked to enter your password or PIN on the login screen.
To reactivate the Windows password at login, simply run "netplwiz" and tick the check-box next to "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer".
