NES Classic Edition Sales Higher the Switch

Would you Adam and Eve it? The best selling games console in the United States in the month of June 2018, wasn't the Xbox One, it wasn't the PS4, it wasn't even the Nintendo Switch, it was the NES Classic edition.

This small retro machine that comes with 30 pre-installed games surpassed the sales of the newer generation of consoles.

As well as coming with 30 pre-installed games, the NES Classic edition is compatible with the classic controls of the original NES and is connected to the television through a HDMI cable. If you don't want to play the games in HD and would rather the retro feel you can change the display settings so its like playing on an old tube television.

One reason why sales were higher than other consoles is perhaps the price. The NES Classic edition will set you back $59.99 US, £49.99 UK,  59.99€.
