Could the PS5 have two versions

New Rumor - PS5 will have Standard & Pro Versions

There may still be a year left until PS5 becomes a reality, but there is new data and rumors about the new Sony console appearing every week. The latest PS5 rumor indicates that there will be two versions, a standard version and a PS5 Pro version.

The rumor has come from the Japanese journalist Zenji Nishikawa, who also argued that Sony has proven that there is interest in a higher specification model. And wants give it to the players from the very beginning of the new generation.

This would end the usual cycle that we have seen in all its consoles, launching a base model, then after a few years releasing a slim version or slightly redesigned version.

If this rumor is true, the next generation of PlayStation could start breaking the cycles that we are used to from Sony, and offer a PS5 Pro at launch. Improvements could have a higher capacity hard drive, an improved processor or more RAM, allowing, for example, that all games run at 60fps.

Nor would it be anything unusual, as for many players it is increasingly important to be able to play with the best possible video quality, 4K, as well as with a consistent high frame rate. Maybe, just maybe the PlayStation 5 Pro can be the console that ensures that 4K and 60fps can be played throughout.
